Ok i still love this game but dont play much cause when ever I play I get lag. My ping stays less than 25. My fps doesnt get above 60. When I am playing my fps will jump from like 30-60 every second or so. I have an 8800gt and dont understand why this is happening. Can anyone help me?

Is this only in DoD or all the online games you play, if it's all your online games do you want me to move this to Tech help forum you might get more to look at this and help.



It may be your IP you might have a bad hop some where along the line. Run a trace to the server and see what happens.

Download this program it's free, you just have to type in the srver IP you want to check like one of the Ville servers and it will show each hop to the server and if there is a problem with any of the hops. If there is you can contact your IP and let them know sometimes they can correct or maybe help.

Do you notice the FPS drop? If not, I wouldn't worry about it.

it does drop. It will go from 30-60 when ever it does the bump. Also why do i only get 60 fps in this game?

Try redownloading I was getting the same problems with my new comp but I redownloaded it and now it works fine

60 is the cut-off for vsync. Sounds like you have it enabled. Which you should, if you're using an LCD.


I think stevo was asking, If you didnt have net_graph on, would you notice any choppiness? Or, are you just nitpicking the amount because you think you should be getting more? A solid 30 fps is actually not bad.


Have you looked into choke?

I never have any choke ceept when i responed and I always have net graph on. This is just one of things that is going to make me drink like I am right now.
