TV2 in for repairs...

Post by Dog » Mon Dec 11, 2006 12:03 am

Due to long map change times and various other weird happenings, TV2 will likely be reset within the next couple of days.
We'll get it back up to speed ASAP...We'll lock it until we get it all fully working.

Service completed.
Interior has been valeted, exterior waxed, fresh oil change and new brakes fitted.
Weird little squeaky noise in the left fender has been traced to a family of mice.

In other words, TV2 is spankingly fresh and ready to go!!

I hope you remembered to un-reverse the battery polarities.

I know this is a little OT, but did anyone else notice that the server died after the bots were added?

The bots were added because there were people coming on in ones and twos with not much to do. Now, while they wait for others to join, they can practice on the bots. The server fills up and the bots disappear.

Perhaps TV2 is a little quieter for a number of reasons.
The novelty of new customs may be wearing off as they become familiar.
People often go where their friends are, so if TV3 has a bunch on, then that's where they'll go.
Oh, and the period up to Christmas is historically quiet!

I actually prefer the 2nd server, just seems thats unless theres two or more people playing the bots no one shows up and they all stay on 3. I love learning new maps and tricks and really appreciate the time and effort put into it
