i don't think people make demos very often unless they're specing someone, but i could be wrong......and a demo about you bugging frosty.....errm.......dude.......

Hmm...there was a forum I went to and they had DoD demos...people make demos for fun and/or reporting a hax. This thread is about recording funny moments or funny chats on a demo and posting it. I agree, the frosty thing wasn't really called for, I edited my post, sorry. But, dude, demos are a way a life.

ok, i'll just admit it...i'm a demo fool. i downloaded it, but what now? how do i go about watching the demo?

go to consoel and type playdemo (nameofit).dem which one did you download

right under the download is the command, copy and paste (it will take a while let steam run )

first you have to put the demo files in your dod folder.


C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\(account name)\day of defeat\dod

then you open dod, open up console, and type "playdemo (demoname)"

Yes, but when you type "playdemo (demoname)" you need to put .dem after (demoname). I may be wrong...

nah u dont have to. just the name of the file without the .dem. at least that's how mine works....

Yeah, I tried that it worked.

I have trouble playing demos,

I put the demos in the dod folder.... Then type playdemo WAzzA.dem and it says it cannot play this file.

Any help?
