For some reason, the enemy (and friendly for that matter) muzzle flash sprite completely covers the player. This screen kinda shows it. Sometimes, I can't see the enemy at all. They're just a white milky box while they are shooting at me.

Try turning off the fog.
Options>Multiplayer>Advanced>Uncheck Show Fog

You have an nVidia card? This is often a problem with them...
