1.3 was the game that brought me to this little community (even though I would not post anything welll into DOD source days. You will be missed 1.3! But it is time.

OK, I'll admit I was more of a CS brat than a DoD player, can someone explain the "Gimme french fries!" to me?

I forget which one it was specefically, but there was an axis voice command that sounded very similar to " gimme french fries" and therefore was fun to spam.

I can't find the DoD 1.3 German voice command but I think it was in DoD:S as well. Check about 25 sec into the above video "Gimme French Fries" I think it's the same.

Some of my most cherished gaming memories come from years of playing 1.3 with you guys, and I still remember a handful of entertaining and hilarious moments to this day, very fondly. Thanks for that!Squirrel wrote:Best game ever made

so sad, reading old names bring back memories. Still playing as there's a few servers still out there. I've run into a few old players on the web like shewolf and sarge. Would love to see the server back up as there's not a better game still
