With all the changes n'such around the ville. I was curious to know if Falaise works on any of the servers now? I always wanted to play that map here but I heard that it causes the server to crash.

Frosty is our resident map expert, but as far as I know, no changes have been made to Falaise. We do have Falaise-Gap as well and it doesn't crash the servers...however, it is hit or miss for some people. When I play, I lose all the little flag icons in top left or maybe just one appears.

I like Falaise too! Got everything...big open area for mgs and snipers. Twisty streets and alleyways for the assault guys!

Well I hope it works properly. Actually after reading the "history of the ville" I'm suprised that none of the resident map makers havent converted Avanti to a dod map ^_^ I'd like to see that.

Yes there is avanti and 2fort for DoD and I think 1 or 2 others. :D

I have played on 2fort :) but not in awhile so I had to download again but 2fort is missing a file, I think simple has the missing file. I know 2fort is on servers 3 and the private server. Beeron does have the DL info if he doesn't post, will find and post where you can get them.

That is caused by missing files after downloading from a server with missing or incomplete res files. If you find the map on a website, you will usually get all the files.

Anyway, the regular falaise seems to work just fine on the test server.

Falaise runs maybe a few times, but sooner or later it will crash the server.

Where'd ya go? I'm guessing Grouse, Seymour, or Cypress? Those little mountains are so lucky, my beloved Whistler is struggling to keep rocks and trees covered!

Shifty...I'm not sure I want to know how you replied to this thread instead of the one in general ramblings.

Easy, this topic is 111, Dog's topic on feeling tired is topic 11121, probably an error in the browser when Shifty hit 'quote' button or a database error where the forum attached the response to a truncated topic ID.
