Hi everyone I am new here and I started playing Team Fortress 2 about a week ago. Some of you guy's might of seen me in your servers. My name is Helios 36 just like in these forums. Anyway back to the point of this thread. When I try to use a spray on your servers it makes the spraying noise but the spray does not show up on any of the surfaces and all the sprays work fine on other servers.

Another strange thing that happens when I go on your servers is when I go to the multiplayer options where it show's a picture of the current spray you are using instead of showing the picture it shows a black and pink checker pattern or a white outline of a square with a diagonal line through it . Hopefully someone here can help me on how to make my spray's work on your servers, also non of my sprays have profanity or nudity in them (that's right I read the server rules).

it might be because we have our server set on something like sv_pure 2 or some setting like that which restricts sprays and models to avoid hacks, and the occasional ( or not so occasional ?) spray with content that we wouldn't want sprayed everywhere

Giz is correct. We have pure set to block custom models and sprays. It's to prevent certain hacks and undesirable sprays, i.e. raciast, sexual, etc.

i think that is great. i really dont think that sprays add anything to gameplay or even enjoyment.

Thanks for your responses. I was just confused on why my sprays are not working on your servers cause it says "no offensive sprays" so I thought you can use sprays and just not use offensive ones. Oh well it's not a big deal. I barely use sprays anyway.

helios stevo doesnt have you name in his steam theres a thing on the ville called the you tag and if you put it in it inserts the username of the reader so.. yeah
example : [you] [you][you][you][you][you]

all it is, is [ you ] (nospaces)

Are you saying that after backstabbing someone and spraying a Wash Coupon with Spy's signature that says above it "You got blood on my suit. Now either pay it or pay for it." is NOT ENJOYABLE?!

I made a spray when I played on hard fought servers that had the capture point with an arrow sign I'd spray everywhere and confuse everyone, probably a good thing sprays don't work
