So I've been thinking about buying TF2 for PC but I'm not sure how my PC will handle it. What do you guys think?

AMD 64 3700+, OC'd to 2.4GHz
ATi x850pro 256MB, OC'd to x850xt with 16 pipelines enabled
2GB of RAM
WindowsXP SP2

It runs CS:S at 1024x768 on high very well but not so much DoD:S, that's why I'm afraid to invest some money in it until I get a new PC. I'm pretty picky when it comes to quality vs FPS too.

You should be fine.

No problems I can see.

if you run it at 1024x768 with med details and no hdr or AA, you'll get good fps. Depends on the map too, customs are more likely to run like crap.

Also, if you really wanted to, there are prefabbed .cfg files for graphically challenged PCs that will turn all the unnecessary stuff off (like players eyes and teeth etc)

Sooooooooooooo I got TF2 and it runs suprisingly perfect with high models and textures at 1024x768 with 2xAA and 4xAF. So I will see you all in game to frag.

that 'Will it Blend?' stuff is way funny. Best part is when he tells you not to breath the dust that comes out. Duh!
