Do you think we could possibly play hydro a bit more on the servers that run the regular rotation? possibly fit it in twice in the rotation? i know we have a 24/7 dustbowl and 24/7 dustbowl/gravelpit map.... yes i do like them maps, but on our two servers that run the regular rotation..... it seems hydro doesnt come up very often, i hardly ever see being played here at the Ville

I've noticed that the past few days on TV7. For some reason it gets to gravel and goes back to dustbowl....
Hydro did come up last night several times, though.
I'm looking at it.

so many people say they hate it and i dont know why
its never the same thing 2 times until the maps restart

Most people seem to not like it for the same reasons people don't like 2Fort, because stalemates and turtling are both common.

i like hydro. i also kinda wish 2fort was back in the rotation, but like once every other cycle. after the server being stuck on dustbowl all week, i kinda miss these old maps.
also, i think a taste of a map that is frustrating (2fort), for me anyways, makes the other "good" maps better.

Oh, meant to say, you can't put a map twice in a rotation. We've tried.
For example, say we did
tc_hydro
cp_dustbowl
cp_gravelpit
tc_hydro
ctf_2fort
it would NEVER get to 2fort. After the second hydro, the next map would be dustbowl....
Blame VALVe.

Hydro is my favorite map, it is sadly hardly ever played, and people leave.....which I am not sure why, 2 great matched teams make for a great time.....
oh well....

Overnight, if a server empties, it's nearly always because of hydro or well or granary
