I will try LATER tonight and see if the crashing persists after the update.
Evidently, it fixed JCOM's issues. He was having a terrible time with it.

Same here. :)

yup, went back to -dxlevel 90 and no crashes now.

If you had dxlevel 81 from prior, you will need to change it in your startup to 90. Or use the command stevo has, I believe its -autoconfig.

Yeah, -autoconfig will reset all your graphics settings and stuff to the defaults if you have problems. Just remember to take it out when it's done or it will keep resetting.

its great to see so many of the old villuns still here....i cant wait to play with u guys again

I saw Greebo on TV1 last night. :D He was playing with the <PWG> tag. I told him, "I guess PWG is Pimps WithOUT Grenades" now.

I even changed my steamfriends name to The Titan to ask greenbo to unban me, but he left before I could do it.

"What the heck is an insultment?

I can assure you that Greebo does not like to be called Greenbo, I belive I did that to him in a game not long ago and he hunted me down all game.

Mr. Titan, its real simple. If you have emailed Robert E Lee (rob@theville.org) and he has not responded then your not going to get unbanned. Dont forget to include your WON id in the mail in case Robert decides to unban you.

Now for the rest of you, ignore Mr. Titan, I am not sure if he is a noob, a troll or just an idiot, but I am sure that we should be wasting our time on him.

JD"

Where is JD anyway?

I've been having these issues since I started playing...I've done everything I could find, from various launch options to reformatting, and things are still a pain. Granted, I only crash about twice a session now, but it's still a pain. The server maintains my Steam ID and I have to go join a different one until the map changes or I time out or something like that. Anyway...I recently got this message

www.jonandkanien.com/TF2_Error.png

and wondered if anyone here could make heads or tails of it. I've contacted Valve, but get no response.

Did a search on the error, maybe something in there will help.

LOL s

The server crashed due to SourceTV, Valve is still trying to work out the bugs and get it to work with TF2.
