24/7 Server Maps

AVANTIVILLE, always and forever. Just need a great version for TF2, which I have yet to see. There is the one we sometimes play on the custom maps server, but it never captured the same feel as TFC avanti for me. Best map ever...or maybe that is my noobile 13 year old TFC self talking...

Edit: the counter argument: JUST what TheVille needs, another 24/7 custom map that only fills for a couple hours of some nights of the week...

This depends on the quality of the map, and a good avanti provides awesome gameplay and viable strategies for all classes, with flank routes in each section of the map. The TF2 avanti custom map always seemed to small, both horizontally and linearly.

It needs a very dedicated seed team to fill it and I haven't seen that happen much yet.

Fairly convinced that if we had that for a week or two it would survive, but it needs that level of dedication at first so people favourite the server.

yeah we would, but then L4d2 come along all willy nilly and kills it at 7v7 or 8v8!
