Deary me! Dear, dear, dear…

I can see now that I clearly misjudged my readers.

I never expected that this thread would provoke such strong emotions. I was thinking to myself, “Hey, this will be kinda interesting. Put an observation into haiku and have some fun with it.” I guess it didn’t turn out as planned.

Anybody who has read my posts here should know by now, that I have little trouble expressing myself. And I’m not shy. If I want something, I will articulate my complaints and desires boldly and in unambiguous terms.

I wasn’t trying to be intentionally obscure or evasive.

I wasn’t playing you all for saps.

I was just being artistic, creative. Art sometimes can be abstract and obscure.

I was just trying to be playful and entertaining, you know, offering something fresh.

I am deeply apologetic for any distress my post may have caused. I ask your forgiveness. Please do not exert yourself further on this thread. Consider it resolved and enjoy your evening.

Chatter on the servers IS infectious and certainly makes the game better, or at the least more fun.

I saw proof of this today. I was playing Dustbowl on TV6 and was on a team that was silent (yes, I was silent too, I admit I was part of the problem) and getting rolled.

I thought I'd try calling out everything, even though it didn't seem like it was information that would likely be useful to anyone else. For about 5 minutes, I was the only one saying anything, and I felt kind of stupid, but then just one or two other people started talking, and it's amazing how much more fun the game became just because it felt like there was a bit more teamwork happening...and then we won a round.

In all honesty, I think the situation was helped because a few decent players connected to the server and joined our team before we actually won the round, but I definitely did see an improvement in the team's performance even before those players joined.

I'm TV6's biggest defender here. After what I saw tonight, it 100% has a stacking problem.

We had some stacking issues the past couple days on tv7 as well (from some people that should know better). There are times when it seems like a stack and its not, times when people decide they want to play with a friend instead of just joining a random team, times when people who are new to the game or our servers don't understand what they are doing and how we prefer that they not do it here, and times when people join the team they think is going to win. I find that it happens more on dustbowl 24/7 simply due to the volume of random non-Villuns we get on it vs the rotation server, but it does happen and about the only thing you can do is not do it your self, and ask others not to do it as well when you see it.
