Re: naughty and nice crates
The other options are the Holy Mackeral, Grenade Launcher, Axtinguisher, and Buff Banner.
Odd - haven't seen a strange one yet. Ah well. I got a regular Festive Axtinguisher - if I can get my hands on a Strange Festive one, that will make me happy.

Re: naughty and nice crates
I've gotten a Strange Festive Ubersaw, they're in there but pretty damn rare.
The Huntsman is sounding like it will be the most popular though. It has unique projectiles (the arrow is topped with a light bulb, and a gift tag dangles on the shaft: "Merry Smissmiss, from: Sniper") that are maintained when the arrows strike walls or people; you can see the bulbs sticking out of people's thighs or chest or whatever. It also appears to be much larger than intended, i'm hitting geometry details from six inches away; where I could normally fire arrows past certain details, like the corner of something, these festive arrows are getting caught on them despite being visibly clear.
The Sandvich is a little ridiculous, it's wrapped like a christmas present complete with a ribbon-bow and a tree-topper star affixed to the ribbon, yet the Heavy still takes a bite out of it. I sure hope that paper is edible.

Naughty crates are going for about a key from the sounds of it. . . I still have not gotten either type to drop for me.

The fish and the ambassador are pretty funny too. Fish has a bulb sticking out its mouth, and ambassador has a red one taped under the barrel like a laser sight.

Re: naughty and nice crates
I have 2 naughty and one nice crates to give away. I also have about regular 20 keys I have acquired during trading. Perhaps if people could donate regular crates I could open them at the same time and we could make this a thing.

So... I know the Strange Festive Axtinguisher isn't on the list of things you said you'd be willing to trade... but would you be willing to trade it?DDYzErO wrote:I opened around 20 Naughty crates and only got 2 strange festive weapons. 1 Ubersaw and 1 axtinguisher. I have quite a lot of metal, if that is of any interest.

Re: naughty and nice crates
Strange Festive Huntsman i'm betting will go for well over a buds, especially once the crates go away. It doesn't help that regular Strange Huntsman is only available in the already-rare series 40 crate.
On the subject of the Festive Huntsman, it turns out that right now the arrows have a considerably larger hitbox than the already-oversized regular arrows, to the point where it's nearly impossible to shoot around corners because the arrows get caught in the wall despite having up to two feet of clearance. This also includes hitting people as I scored a kill despite missing two feet to the left of someone, though i'm not sure about the headshot hitbox.
Here's a pic I took after trying to shoot around a corner in spawn: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =114771594

Re: naughty and nice crates
Killing people with a Huntsman despite aiming nowhere near your target is a fairly regular feature of the normal bow.
Glad they finally made the arrow's flightpath as wide as the idiotic killzone on it.

Re: naughty and nice crates
It's impossible to shoot around corners. I think I've said that a few times now. But thanks to the widening of the flightpath, the kill-zone is also bigger. Like I said, I killed someone by shooting about two feet to the left. That shouldn't be happening, clear misses shouldn't be kills.Alizée Fan wrote:Killing people with a Huntsman despite aiming nowhere near your target is a fairly regular feature of the normal bow.
