I have experience running these events on the somethingawful servers, hit me up if you need help, I can explain how those usually go down.

Hmm I might join one of these despite the fact I barely play Tf2 and I'm in Australia now.

BTW are you having gravetalk enabled when this event is going on?

To answer some questions that have come up:

We will not be doing what would properly be termed a 'PUG'. We'll be randomly assigning teams among the players that show. If there are more than 18 folks that want to play, we can figure out a way to change some folks out at the end of a round or map.
We will not be randomly assigning classes. Part of the fun of the event will be figuring out how to make do with who you end up with and keep adjusting through the night - teams will not be static past a complete round.
We've not had any discussion yet on maps but will probably do so soon, I, personally, don't foresee arena any time soon, but if there's a desire for it I'm sure we'll do it at some point.

Gravetalk will probably be off. We will not be using any additional mods or plugins to make this go.

Saturday seems to be winning by a mile, so unless the voting dramatically changes so it will likely be! We'll probably be going late - 9 or 10 VST so our West Coast friends can join after dinner. Stay tuned, we'll have more details for you soon!

Thanks for sponsoring this event Plinko, sounds like it'll be fun! I'm looking forward to the late start if it is on Saturday since I'll probably be stuck at work due to baseball.
