I dunno, I have a bubbly Pugilist's Protector, sometimes I'd rather just wear the Brock Samson mullet or the War Head, or perhaps my favorite combination of Point and Shoot/All-Father.

Sometimes I think I'm the only person who actually likes the Geisha Boy.

I unboxed a purple energy geisha boy a while back. that hit the trade market pretty fast. I now have 8 unusuals, all flies except my favorite, a steaming flamboyant flemenco

The first unusual I unboxed was my favorite, a purple energy Shako. I stopped opening crates for a bit but the next key I used got me a vivid plasma Gone Fishing for sniper. I sure felt lucky but wearing a glowing sniper hat isn't always the best idea. Fast forward a few years and many keys later, I opened up a Capo's Capper with planets the other week. Since I don't play heavy much it is up for trade but I'm not holding my breath hoping to get something awesome for a planets hat. Based on my previous experience, since the last key in my backpack snagged me an unusual the next time I get a key and open a crate I'm certain to get another............... right?

Unboxed my first Unusual hat last night. Pyro Waxy Wayfinder (melting candle) with 2 Effects, not sure if 2 are normal.

It has smoking and snowing. Will try to post a picture later when I am home.

While we are on it, do the hats associated with the crate have anything to do with the unusual that drops? I was uncrating a crate with Engi hats in the hopes of an Unusual safe n sound and got a pyro hat. I am guessing there is no real correlation.

** Edit, apparently the Genteel Smoke effect is normally part of this hat, and the Snowing part is the unusual effect.**

Smoking is the standard effect of all Waxy Wayfinders - they leave a small trail of smoke from the flame. Snowing is the actual "unusual" effect in your case.

There is no relation between the crate you unbox and the unusual you get - equal odds of all unusuals from all crates, regardless of what that crate is.
