MAO!
Valve wanted to eliminate the demand for achievement farming. Their "solution" of awarding unlockable items in a nebulous, random fashion may have magnified this supposed "problem."
Inconceivable!

You know, people should really relax and play the game and... ... hey! That's the server I'm on

HAHA Tarrock! I actually saw it in the Steampowered TF2 forums

I'm up to EIGHTEEN duplicate weapons! I'm not sure if you're more likely to get new ones if you delete the old ones but half my inventory was filled and I'm expecting to get 600 new hats

so goodbye backburner no. 5

People are such losers, seriously leaving your computer on all day to get a virtual hat and a virtual jar of pee.
I feel more like a loser for simply playing this game, and by extension being associated with people who idle like that.

I was actually looking for servers to do this last night. Didn't check the forums before I went to bed so I just randomly joined a server. It didn't have enough people so I got 0 unlocks over night. I was searching for AFK not idle. Damn, wasted a night. Thanks for the post.
