I thought it was a big joke way early this morning (April fools day) it was the first time I had ever made it to the third stage of Egypt. The last point is long, wide, and sentry farm heaven. Pop your uber early to not get bombarded with spam and pyros, but you'll never even make it close to a sentry. I don't think I've ever heard anything good about this map.

Badlands was taken off the rotation for this crap?

Also, it was only the second time I had ever gotten to the second stage as well.

After we were done attacking, through Stage 3 point 2, only to suffer a defeat, we received a total of 0 points. Defense got 1. What the heck?

So can we please get Egypt removed from the rotation server? Nothing good ever comes out of it, and we hate playing it. Put ANY other two stock maps back in its place. (Except for maybe Junction)

Badlands shouldn't be replaced by anything.

Badlands isn't the end all map. Replace Badlands with Hydro and you have yourself a deal.

By my understanding, they simply added those two maps when they first came out. There's no need to replace them with anything - just remove them entirely.

Egypt is a big reason why I don't play on TV VII as much anymore.

Actually I quite like Egypt. People haven't given it enough time time to get some good tactics going.

I think that there's a few things that could make Egypt more playable (based on my experience with the first and second stages):

1) If engineers are limited to 3, change it to 2. If they are limited to 2, change it to 1. Atleast for defense. Because of all the nooks and crannies, it often takes multiple ubers to take out multiple sentries. Coordinating that, and getting it right, is next to impossible on a public server.

2) Increased spawn time (especially on the first stage). One defender stands on the point for 5 seconds while the rest of the defensive team is spawning, makes it pretty hard to cap. All they have to do is run a few feet to get back to the cap point. The spawn is too close to the final cap.

I'm not sure if these settings can be tweaked for Egypt only, but I feel if we can do some adjustment before removing the map completely, that would be nice.

Can we not have Badlands AND Egypt?

I would be happy to have Badlands back, as it is my favorite map.

An engy limit back down to 2 may help.

don't know why there is so much hate for egypt, is it really that bad?

its just horribly balanced
