RECORDDEMO

Post by JohnCarterofMars » Fri Oct 26, 2007 4:01 pm

does this command still work in TF2? I was curious for two reasons, one, I'd like to see some of the crazy

stuff i do and the crazy stuff that happens when I play, two, to catch the llamas and h4xorz in the act.

any info would be great!

spank ye :bash: :bash:

record yourmoviename
stop

thats all you need to know =)

(you can specify recording fps like this to lower the demand on your comp)

record yourmoviename 32 (32 is default)

Also, if you plan on recording a demo and your system chugs while recording the demo, lower your resolution and details

kew thanks for the help, I got a demo recorded of the Heavy weight Championship we had the other night with JD, Red Seal, hammer and myself. I'll see if I can get it zipped and posted for fun. After doing this I thought it might be a great idea to have a Villun night where we all go heavy and box it out. dance like a butterfly sting like a bee!

sure thing dude, fraps is cool

Only thing to watch for with fraps is HUGE file sizes.

so, keep the resolution to minimum along with the fps, keep it default 30 (unless you dont mind eating up 500 mb for a short video)
