Oh man, BF2:MC for PS2. I was godlike at that game. I had 2 Five Star General accounts, and a three star. Our clan was called The Unsung Heros..

You could not beat us at TheNest CTF, We were almost undefeated at that map and game mode. We had very good teamwork strats.

About a year ago, I was a hardcore player, Our clan was always in the top 5 in the world, and most of the time #1 or #2

Image

It makes me sad that the game is now run by hackers, glitchers, exploiters, and the fact that there is never any damn clan match servers up!

Thats why we dont have many games played in that screenshot! We always had to restart due to damn hackers! We all got fed up, moved to PC gaming, and then after, all got the PS3.

Does anyone still play bf2? I reinstall it occasionally and play for a while, but there never seems to be many fun servers to play on. My favorite recentrly closed  and 2142=boring. Also, ps2 battlefield is a joke :D

Just kidding guys, but really, the bf franchise belongs on pc

Whats boring about 2142? I rather enjoy all the poding, gadgets and global cooling fueled mayhem.

I like it, but bf2 is much better. 2142 seemed to be more suited towards casual gamers, ergo, it was reaaally easy. I think I got to Captain in my first month, whereas it took about a year to get to captain in bf2...

Yeah I was going to say that online gaming being easy is kind of relative but I see what you mean. Most people playing 2142 these days gain rank by joining knife only servers. Gaining rank wasn't really the draw for me so it hasn't hindered my gameplay.

I love playing BF2, but it sucks for writing plugins. No admins plugins or fun plugins for BF2...

Heh, I know what you mean. Knife only servers were the only thing keeping me on bf2142 for the time I played it. I just love those badges =)

Yeah I've caught myself in those games on occation because I mis-spent points on dumb upgrades and don't want to start over again.
