It releases October 25th on Steam in NOrthAmerica. The 27th everywhere else. I've played the demo and thought it was enjoyable. However I'm deciding whether or not to purchase because of lack of funds  It is in my future purchase list though

I played the Demo, and I enjoyed it. It reminds me something like Oblivion with more gore and harder mosteres and such. The graphics are great.....as long as you have a higher end system. I am still trying to decide if I want to get it or not though.

I'd love to get this game - bows and arrows and all that!
But I get little enough time to play DoD so I guess maybe next summer...:)

I plan to get it, I have been a long time Might and Magic fan. THough I am not sure about this more oblivion style set up. In the pervious ones you were still in first person, but you actually had a party of 4 people

I already pre-ordered it. The demo was awesome. I was pretty stoked about the multiplayer until I found out it is going to be battlefield2 with swords and magic.

So...For those of you who own it and have played it...how is it? I'm still in the 'consideration in purchasing' phase.

I've got it and have been playing both the single player and multi player. Single player is great. So far I've only managed to find european servers running the multi player and although my pings have sucked it's still a great game. It takes a bit to get used to without any guns to fire

Finally got to try it out after work today (took all night to download) I like the realistic fighting. I just finished the training section so I don't know much about the game. But just imagine midevil earth on source. As far as I can tell it uses the source engine, looks and feels exactly like CS:S and DoD:S. You can even turn HDR on and off, pretty cool! The graphics are nothing short of spectacular

OK, so after playing here n there for a few weeks, I'm on the third mission. I must say the graphics, the sound, the music, the controls, the "non-movie-rendered" animations, and diversity of tasks/fighting makes the game GREAT =) IF (thats a pretty big if) you can stand long and very often load times. Other than that, it's awesome. There are so many different fighting styles in this game too, and all of em are customizable by buying skills in certain areas. And tons of different weapons which is always fun. I'd give the game a 75 out of 100. It would be a 95 with out all the lame load times and high price. Anyway, if anyone was thinking about buying it, don't pay a butt load of money for it like I did.
