Classic Doom/Doom 2

Does anyone play any of the modern ports of the original doom games? I still do and am currently scheming something, as I miss the multiplayer days in those games, especially coop on nightmare.

I'm not sure which one you're referring to, but I have all the PC versions of the game. I've never tried any multiplayer.

With the PC versions, you can use various ports, such as Zdoom and GZdoom that add in new controls and features such as scripting and sloped surfaces. There is on out now called ODAMEX which allows dedicated servers and can be hosted in a raspberry pi 3. Playing around with it now (all the ports are free, you just have to own the original game ince they do not include the doom wad files). Might set up a server or 2 if there are people interested
