I've heard some other villuns suggest the idea, and considering how many of us seem to be playing Rocket League nowadays, we might be able to work something out.

What do you all think?

I'd play too if you catch me at a good time. I kinda suck though.

I bought RL recently haven't fired it up. I'd like to have a chance to learn to play with villuns.

How does the MP work - they maintain the servers, right? Is it lobby-ish? How would we do it?

Just going by my friends list - a lot of folks have the game and it's on sale through Monday, maybe if we did a little fun event for people soon would induce some folks to get in on it and play regularly.

You can join a game via matchmaking with up to three other people in your party, or you can have up to seven others in your party and create a private game.

Sparky pointed out a helpful resource before, that should be useful if you don't know very much about the game yet.

They control the servers, yes, but we can create private matches and regulate our tourney tree! We could set up 2v2s or or more if we had enough. The hard part would be the team selection. Probably partners through random numbers or something.

I'd been working on planning one of these, but was told somebody else was doing so and I should hold off.

That was a month+ ago and I haven't seen any sign of the other one, so give me a couple days to figure out details and dates, and I'll rev up a Rocket League tourney for us all!
