I know a couple of people play Dota a bit, was wondering if there was any others. If you want to play, I can help you learn. I know firsthand that Dota has a very daunting learning curve, but it can be a very fun one, too.

Doesnt seem bad just a big commitment to learn and alot of griefers. I Tried learning before but dealt with whiners and rude people.

The Mrs. and I have dabbled, i watch a lot of it on Youtube.

But my experience with playing has been unpleasant at best. Little patience for new people and a lot of YOLO with experienced players against new players in match making.

I've been mostly doing PvE; I wouldn't mind playing with a group of people i know.

I played bot matches for awhile to get the hang of it. I've also found its better to play with other friends. I believe a dude who goes by Purge has written a pretty neat guide.

I played around with it for a bit, but then moved on to Smite and haven't played any since.

How is Smite? I've had friends play but I've never tried myself.
