Zooming around the Eravate system, trying to avoid interdictions.
4/5 so far and the last one, I boosted, flew all over the place, waiting for the FCD to come back online and then jumped away.

Making a miserable living trading in crop harvesters building up enough cash to buy a hauler.
The servers reset at 11:00pm each night (PST) so it's a pain in the bum to wait for 15 minutes. A good way of making me go to bed, though.

Saved up enough creds to buy a hauler, discarded the scanner and shields and upgraded the cargo bays to 22t.
Getting interdicted isn't so much of a problem, although I discovered a huge issue with the game.

I was approaching McMahon Dock, when I was interdicted just before I dropped out of FSD.
The escape vector took me right into the planet. I escaped but I 'hit' the planet atmosphere and dropped out of FSD.
Since planets can't be crashed into yet, it got me wondering what will happen when they eventually add planet landings!

Indeed, interdiction as a whole is still really really buggy, a solid 50% of the time I "submit" I either escape (which is the exact opposite of what should happen), get flung several hundred light seconds away, or drop out to no one joining me in the interdiction party and I just go "....alrighty then"

Yay...broke 200k today, hauling silver, coffee and marine equipment between three systems.
No shields, no scanner, no idea who is scanning me, have a bigger FSD and have escaped all interdictions so far!
Saving up for the Cobra!

Well, I raised my 800k credits to spend on a nicely kitted out Cobra Mk III complete with upgraded power plant, power distributor, 16t cargo bays, gimballed burst and beam lasers x 4, fuel scoop and shield cell bank.
I sold my little Hauler and Sidey. Love the Cobra.

Now I just submit to interdictions instead of evading the pirates and wait until they target me and then blast the hell out of them.
Only one has managed to frame jump away from me. Maybe I should buy an Interdictor.

I got fed up running cargo around the Eravate system so I went out to Zaragas, a high tech planet where I could get all my class 4 stuff for the Cobra, but I spent a lot of creds there! So I started running random cargo pickups out to Tau Ophiuchii and Nuakea, which turned out to be in the back arse of nowehere.

At the moment I am slowly returning back to Eravate and Potriti, because the cargo runs there were pretty good considering the jumps.
I'm in Clayakarma, sitting in an agri world debating whether to run Tea somewhere because this is a British game and they need tea.
And I only have 200k left so need to make some more credits to buy the Python, which is my next goal.

Jeez, this game is addictive and fun even though it is a little like Eurotruck Simulator...except you kill stuff.

Oh and I want this:

Starts at 1:21
Fights a pirate in 2:42 - he has 500k credit turret beam lasers

Found a nice route for a little while.
Bought a B4 class FSD so now I can make 11 ly jumps laden.
Making 80k credits per round trip hauling resonators one way and gold the other.
Just three jumps per trip.

Before upgrading to a better FSD, it took 8 jumps one of which landed me beside a white dwarf, from which you can't fuel scoop and the gravity pulls you in. Ship started overheating but shot out at 2c!

And I am back to avoiding interdictions because submitting to them, while fun, wastes time, as you chase after them and blast them to pieces.

One of these days, I will save up enough for a Lakon Type 6 with 100t cargo bays.

Just got the lakon type 7...quite the let down of a ship for 17 mil, terrible speed, terrible jump capabilities (stock of only 8 ly fully loaded with 104 tons), always overheats jumping (physically cannot avoid this) on top of the fact that it is a size large space ship so it cant dock with the smaller stations on top of the lack of maneuverability and weak speed....gonna go for the dropship at 30something million asap...

The Type 6 is a fun craft though.
The 100t cargo makes trades very profitable.
