CLAPTRAP IS LOVE! CLAPTRAP IS LIFE!
In all seriousness, though, I'm not sure whether I'll play as Claptrap or as Athena once I get the game. On one hand, Athena's Xiphos skill tree seems reminiscent of Zero's Bloodshed tree mixed in with traits from Krieg's skill set, and I've been primarily rolling with a mêlée Zero all this time. On the other hand, you get to play as Claptrap! Who doesn't want to play as Claptrap, aside from a certain hipster that knows a lot of people will be playing as Claptrap, and, therefore, would rather buck the trend, and play as Athena instead?

Shift codes for keys folks, they all worked for me tonight, all are limited, the last one expires on the 19th and is for 5 keys I believe.
If you liked the first Borderlands and the second...you'll like the pre-sequel. It's got some hilarious dialogue.

I don't think I can like it to the tune of $60, even if I have really enjoyed the first two.

I was actually lucky enough to get this for free with my new Graphics card when building my new PC. I think I'll keep it in my back catalog until I either get a group of friends to start it or finish all that Borderlands 2 DLC I have.

Someone gifted me this and i just finished the main story. It's a good game but I stand by my original comment of recommending people wait for the dlc to come out and the get discounted bundle

It's not Pre-Sequel, but it's Borderlands-related. Given that Tales isn't a conventional Borderlands title it may not merit it's own thread either.
Anyway, new trailer for Tales from the Borderlands. Turns out it occurs after the events of Borderlands 2.

It's a really fun game. I enjoyed BL and BL2 and all the DLC. I snatched this one up on pre-order.
I absolutely love the series but some people might want to wait for a STEAM sale. The style, humor etc. of the Borderlands games are really fresh but the gameplay might be too old-school shooter for some people. The folks who wrote the dialogue for these games are freakin' hilarious.
