And in this corner: Toon Link!
"So what have you been up to, man? Haven't seen you in so long!"
"Ah, you know how it is. Doin' a lot of side projects, some consulting, maybe a little freelance... Those are words that people say when they haven't actually been doing anything, right?"

I love how right now they're only using Smash U as a means to advertise their other games. Olimar for Pikmin 3, Luigi for all the Year of Luigi nonsense, Peach for....I guess she isn't staring in anything soon. Now Toon Link for Wind Waker HD. I mean, fair enough it's a mascot fighter, but I wouldn't mind hearing something about other characters that don't have game advertisements tied to them. We know there's not going to be any new F-Zero titles soon, but I wouldn't mind learning that Captain Falcon is still in the game.

Didn't see that coming, but considering Sega's deal with Nintendo for three Nintendo-exclusive Sonic titles (Colors, Lost Worlds, and something else not determined), it's not totally unexpected.

Also judging by the screenshots, there's a Lost Worlds style stage.

You're too slow!

I have no idea where I found this, it was on my flash drive left over from my animation classes a year or so ago:

What? No promotional tie-in? Damn, I was hoping for the announcement of a new Kirby game.

How do you expect them to announce a game...

When it's already here?
