Re: Dwarf Fortress
I remember I once tried to play this game on Troopa, my Netbook. I just so happened to embark in an area which instantly suffered a massive cave-in unleashing the damned from the depths far below and heralded FPS death. Needless to say I stopped trying to play it on a netbook after that.
I proudly support Independent Developers, Local Businesses, and SNAILGOSH.

Re: Dwarf Fortress
So, Succession Fort! If we get at least 5 people interested in doing this, I'll organize and create an event. We'll have our own Boatmurdered.

Re: Dwarf Fortress
Wasn't that the fort where a single burning dwarf went completely insane at the end and destroyed everyone and everything?
This is hard to be cool and suave while being informative at the same time. Goddamn my coolness.
In my experience, common sense isn't too common.

Re: Dwarf Fortress
You in Zork? And I'm not sure on the actual ending, but the main point was that at any sign of danger, the surface of the world was flooded in lava. That and dwarf-eating, rampaging elephants.

I'm actually not in, I was just pointing out how horrific that one ended; it's got it's own TVTropes page.
