Re: Skyrim
I have also pre ordered it. Like all Bethesda games it should provide hours of exploration goodness. Also it looks like they might not have made this one an awful poorly put together piece of junk. Don't get me wrong I have enjoyed every Bethesda game i have played (oblivian and both fallouts). So far though they have been lacking in a few area though. Like character design, weapons design, graphics, physics, AI, character advancement, and stability to name a few. Skyrim looks like it may fix many of these but we shall see.

Re: Skyrim
Look like I'll be getting medium to high, too. Pete Hines said the recommended gets you high settings. To get extreme settings you'll need a beast of a rig. I don't have a quad core and my video card isn't enough(barely).

Re: Skyrim
I am excited yet nervous about this game. I simply loved morrowind but thought Oblivion and fallout 3 were merely ok. Seems like Bethesda is following down a path that leaves me disinterested.

Re: Skyrim
I should be able to run it just fine.. as long as i figure out this resetting issue... or hopefully skyrim will be one of the games that wont do that.
I preordered it a while ago, and have been excited for it for a looooong time, since the first little teaser for it was out.

Re: Skyrim
I was disappointed by the changes and general feel Oblivion. I'll be relying on reviews and opinions this time around. I would love to here what you guys think once you have picked it up and played it for a while.
I want to play another elder scrolls game because I loved Morrowind but I'm hesitant to commit before I hear what people are saying about it. Realisticaly I'll probably buy the game and play it but it will be the difference between a buying within the first month or the evitable 75% steam deal.

Re: Skyrim
I'm about 5 hours in. I'd say it is fun but I still don't know what I am doing, oh wait, that is what Elder Scrolls is all about.
