Re: Skyrim
Took 15 minutes to get it to work.
Kept crashing (SHOCKER!)
Had to turn my default audio down to 44.1 and that fixed it.

Re: Skyrim
Heard quite a bit of people are having problems, I've had one crash to desktop in my 12 or so hours.
Also, ~ then type fov xx. I can't stand the default fov (this does not disable achievements)

Re: Skyrim
Key rebinds are a bit wonky. I rebind my use in most games to Mouse 3. I opened a book early in the game and it gave me the options to interact with it being the mousewheel to turn pages and E to close the book. I'd already rebound what E should do to Mouse 3. Mouse 3 did nothing, E did nothing. I could not close the book until I actually went into options and put use back on to E and then tried again.

Re: Skyrim
The game seems pretty solid so far, though I'm still getting used to the interface. It has way too low a mouse sensetivity in my opinion, and I can't find anywhere in game to adjust that - a huge pet peeve. Only had one crash so far, related to agro'ing an unaware mob with an arrow, but reloaded and played through the same part without issue a minute later.
Open world is nice. Game overall definitely reminds me of Morrowwind.

I agree, but I found a sensitivity slider right in the options.Alizée Fan wrote:It has way too low a mouse sensetivity in my opinion, and I can't find anywhere in game to adjust that - a huge pet peeve.

Was it under "Controls" or somewhere else? Must find!TheCarpe wrote:I agree, but I found a sensitivity slider right in the options.Alizée Fan wrote:It has way too low a mouse sensetivity in my opinion, and I can't find anywhere in game to adjust that - a huge pet peeve.

Re: Skyrim
To my knowledge, it's just called Look Sensitivity. Unless you're referring to just cursor movement.

Re: Skyrim
Probably gonna wait for a sale on this bad boy. It looks good but I already don't have enough gaming time and I have BF3 and Arkham City coming out soon.

Re: Skyrim
Not too bad. Mouse cursor is a bit funky and a few controls. But it's really nothing major and it never gets in the way.mujo wrote:I heard some people saying it suffers from consolitis, is this true?
Honestly, this game is so much better than oblivion.
I however had to make a handful of config changes. My biggest pet peeve was arrows by default fly in a straight line. They had auto-aim so it would make a fake curve if you aimed straight at your target. I made two ini changes and now I have to really aim and adjust for arrow drop.
