The Potato Sack

I know I'm not the only one who bought this, right? And not even for whatever hat thing it turns out to be...
Most importantly, those of us that buy it get game passes for any games in the pack we already own.

Amnesia, Killing Floor, Super Meat Boy, and The Ball are some big titles, as far as indie-games are concerned.
Maybe I should start playing KF again.

Re: The Potato Sack
I'm not particularly excited about any specific one of the titles, but it's an awfully good deal for a bunch of games I know people enjoy, so I bought it. I've been looking for some minor single-player time burners, and I'm sure out of this collection, I'll get my money's worth. Maybe I'll even find one that I'll become obsessed with, who knows

Audiosurf is a blast, of course. I've kicked the tires on AAAaaaAAa! and that seems fun enough. Frankly it was a ridiculously good deal, not to mention the hat.

Super Meat Boy is the one I'd recommend from the pack, Alizee.

Re: The Potato Sack
Dejobaan Games makes some pretty funny and different games, also kings of making games with needlessly long titles (See: AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! -- A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, The Wonderful End of The World, and now 3, 2, 1, Kick It! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby); all included in the Potato Sack). They're distinctly Indie and have to rely on things like humour and wired ideas instead of, say, really high-quality visuals. I recommend giving their stuff a try (even if you just try out the demos).
Super Meat Boy is also a good buy. Audiosurf is a classic, and I've heard Amnesia is a good game if you like horror. Defense Grid is a tower defense game with an amusing british sidekick. I can't comment on too many more of them though...

Re: The Potato Sack
If anyone who buys this starts to play Killing Floor make sure to message me on Steam.
KF's following on the Ville is pretty much nothing now, but I would love to start playing it again with Villuns.
I'll be sure to teach you the ropes, and we can have a blast together. There's also a little Ville group too.

OMG POTATO SACK!!!

Eater of Potatoes, since 2008.
