Holy **** that was great. Didn't realize that it'd be on the net so fast. Another $60 to spend instantly.
As for Mass Effect 3 the first two are my favorite games ever made (outside Golden Sun and Skies of Arcadia) so this is a happy happy day.

I'm excited, love Mass Effect, but the trailers for these games are always pretty bad imo :P

That's a shame. The Mass Effect series is easily one of my top all time favorites. I can't wait for 3 to come out.

I hope they bring back most of the rpg elements from 1. 2 felt too much like a tps on rails. Still enjoyable, but not as good as 1.

Excellent. Playing through 2 now and loving it.

Both 1 and 2 are some of the best games I have ever played.

1 over 2 anydays. 2 just felt too lateral and too BUY OUR DLCs. $15 for a 5 minute mission. I'm taking a note of not buying a single ME3 DLC.

could not agree more. ME1 could quite possible be my all-time favorite game.

ME2 was okay, there were definitely some things it improved upon from the original, but it really just had a bland story (and stupid end boss). ME1, on the other hand, had an awesome villian, and probably the best ending in a video-game I've ever played. ME2 just didn't pick up the ball where the original left off. For some reason it just felt like it had to run off and add some pointless new side-story stretched out to fill an entire game with. AND HARDLY ADVANCED THE MAIN STORYLINE. I mean, it was there, sort of, in the back-ground, if you looked hard enough... ugh.

/unintentional and half-deleted rant.

Good points Biker and bz. I think you have to look at it like a movie trilogy though: ME1 is a great movie that could have stood by itself, ME2 has some things that you wanted to see in 1 and didn't (the humor elements, Shepard having more than just 2 romance options, less micro-management of gear). Maybe ME2's story is not as great as the first, but it should be leading up the the climatic finale (ME3).

I'm not pissed about the DLC. It keeps supporting the game and what has to be a large budget when you look at the Voice talent, the music, and game world development.

I think when you look at the games we all consider "The Best Ever", you have to go back and ask yourself, what is that worth? If it means spending a little more $$ to get more content, then I'm okay with it. It beats paying $15 a month for a game that is no where near this one. Just my 2 cents.
