Monday Night Combat

Post by Pine » Sun Dec 05, 2010 1:52 pm

As I posted in the Ville Cup thread, I'm currently on my break from PC gaming and right now I'm into my xbox.
I know a lot of people here aren't console people, but I found a game recently called Monday Night Combat that can be purchased on the Xbox arcade for $15.
Basically, the game is a combination of TF2 (graphics), DoTA/HoN/LoL (Gameplay), and Global Agenda.
I haven't played it yet but I bought it and am downloading it because it looks like a decent game.
Was curious if anyone out there has tried this out?
For those who haven't here some gameplay videos I found:

I picked this up for PC yesterday - gave the beta a shot, and it seems like a lot of fun. The humor in it is hilarious, and the gameplay is very fast paced compared to TF2. Anyone else looking at picking it up?
I am the 1%!

Darn, I wish I had known they were going to make a PC version, should've expected it.
It is quite a bit of fun, but can cause some anger when you are attacked by people who juice and run in behind you.

I'm going to be picking this up. I've heard great things about it, and was close to purchasing it on my Xbox. Waited on it though since I wasn't on my xbox much at the moment, and to my surprise, a few days later it was available on Steam! Woot!

Haven't pre-ordered yet, it was just $1 off, but hey, I'll see whoever picks it up there!
It's a long hard road coming to recover from World of Warcrack, but I hope you'll help me bare the load while I travel that road.

Seems similar to tf2. Cartoony, funny dialog, class based, explodey.
Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition!
