Yeah, I have a whole list of achievements I have and have not earned written up, looking at that exact list.

However, as you can see, the "Hide and Go Puke" achievement doesn't have a sun icon on it. Also we were under the impression that the St. Patrick's Day "Wild Card" event was still going on (we did this a few weeks ago).
"So what have you been up to, man? Haven't seen you in so long!"
"Ah, you know how it is. Doin' a lot of side projects, some consulting, maybe a little freelance... Those are words that people say when they haven't actually been doing anything, right?"

So... uh... my favorite online shooter is getting a sequel. I am crazy excited.
Each zed in KF2 features 19 points of dismemberment. "You can blow chunks off their head to reveal skull," he says. "Keep shooting the skull and it explodes, revealing brain cross sections. You can cut them in half vertically, horizontally."

For added variety, each zed has 95 death animations divided between kill zones—the head, neck, chest, stomach, and limbs. Thanks to Killing Floor's success, Tripwire had the money to hire a mocap expert and record every zed movement at a motion capture studio in Los Angeles. Munk captured 3000 motion capture clips for the zeds, and melee attacks, and gun reloads. The once-stolid zeds that clunked around like Unreal Tournament bots are now alive, swaying and howling, lunging and beating their chests.

"We started experimenting. What happens if we animate our weapons shooting at ridiculously high framerates? Using the Bullpup as an example, we animated at 242 frames per second, which gives us 22 frames per shell that ejects out of the weapons. In slow-mo you can actually see every kickback."

Most of them play with level 25 perks, KF2's new level cap. Two skills unlock every five levels, but only one can be equipped from each pair. There's always a tradeoff. The Commando has to choose between a damage boost and a skill that shows his entire team the zeds' health bars.

In KF1, zeds simply moved faster and soaked up damage like lead-starved bullet sponges. In KF2, zeds become more aggressive and gain new abilities. Clots that would stumble around in a daze on normal charge towards Hensley in a fury when he shoots them on Hell on Earth. Spider-like Crawlers pour out of vents in the walls and ceiling and scurry around in the darkness.

Each perk has four primary weapons. That's 40 weapons across 10 planned perks, but Tripwire says there will be others—backup melee weapons and "sidegrades" that won't ruin game balance.
And then a forum post from the Twipwire forums confirms they still plan to update the first KF. ("Don't worry - we aren't done with KF yet")
Not sure how much more they plan to do at this point.

I was talking to a friend about this, and we were wondering what new Perks they would've added. Assuming all the KF1 perks are back, that's three new ones.

Also, PC Gamer is putting Steam keys for a downloadable KF2 "Dosh Jacket" skin in their next printed issue

"There is now a gunslinger perk that is all about pistols both single and dual wielding,
the sharpshooter is all about rifles in the pcgamer article we announced 4 perks out of the bunch so far.
I agree it felt weird in the first game."

"That second map shows a feature nobody is talking about yet (but you probably would be if you noticed it)" | "Destructible Dynamic lighting!"

"Summer update (for KF1) was confirmed by Yoshiro on twitter."

My friend and I thought that would probably be the case, and we were discussing other perks that could be converted into two.

1. Support Specialist: Shotguns and Welding. Make welding affect more than just doors (like they tried to do with Steamland Objective), and you could make a class all about sealing spawn points and repairing things. Perhaps build autoturrets.

2. Demolition: Grenade Launchers and Traps. Since KF2 maps are apparently about constantly moving, being able to leave traps for the Specimens to trip on makes a lot of sense. Move Pipebombs to the Trap perk, maybe add some Claymore mines and laser trip mines. Maybe a bear trap meant to slow down that one Fleshpound that's following you?

And then one more:

A Perk that relies on stealth. Who has the ability to draw attention away from himself. Like a Rogue-y/Spy character who gets damage bonuses for attacking Specimens from behind.

Careful what you ask for. I'm working on acquiring one myself, and I have no problem making out open for all of us.

My friends and I are currently playing on Hard and we keep losing because of randoms coming in and ruining everything.
I know exactly what you're talking about Steveio. I'm a completionist so I went through and got all the Normal and Hard map achievements.
Hard was a horrible experience because it became a lot more difficult to carry the team, something I had to do all the time on Normal.

I actually have very little Suicidal experience but I haven't seen a single person below lvl 5 (People are lvl 6 75% of the time) and everyone takes it pretty seriously.
I still don't win very often but it is pretty serious business.
Me, Grape and Mortis used to do Hell on Earth, it's not *too* bad, but definitely requires working together, having complementary classes and max level classes.

Oh man, that sounded like a lot of fun. By the time I got serious in KF it appeared most of The Ville players already gave up on it.
A year back I managed to get all the HoE map achievements through pubs, and I actually just got 100% achievement completion this week.

I shall now diligently wait for the summer event and KF2.
