They recently added 20+ new achievements to the game, but none of them have actual titles or descriptions. Revealing to everyone the upcoming existence of four added maps.

People on the Tripwire forums have been poking around in the data and have found this. Allegedly:

The new maps:

Siren's Belch (Barrel Stack) - A map set around a hilltop brewery in the snow.

Stronghold (Castle Tower) - A map set in a ruined medieval fortress.

Transit (Eyeball and Butcher Street) - Not sure what it is exactly, but it appears to contain a Horzine building. Comes in Wave and Objective flavors.


The stein and busted DNA strand achievements involve destroying the aforementioned objects (Beer Steins in Siren's Belch and DNA Vials in Transit). Presumably the bag of gold one requires the same in Stronghold.

The "credit card" is actually a card key, and is earned by picking up a card key in one of the levels (probably Transit Objective)

The stopwatch involves being speedy with "Nitro", again probably in Transit Objective.

The Welder's achievement says to kill 250 specimens while welding. Nobody's sure how exactly one does that.

And the unlockable achievement character for this year's Summer Sideshow is... Mrs. Clamely. AKA, the Patriarch's former wife. Not sure how they plan on explaining that.

If you ever delve into KF's lore (lol) you'll learn the Pat was the head scientist leading the Horzine research program that created all the specimen. (ZEDs) So being a human at one point in time is enough explanation to give him a wife I guess. I do remember the Siren is suppose to be like a clone of Pat's wife. Besides from the gouged-out eyes and straitjacket you can totally see the resemblance.

And if you're expecting new voice lines for her, you're out of luck. TW already confirmed that due to the limitation of the Unreal Engine they're basically at the max number of audio lines they can put into the game. Case in point, they said they had a ton of lines recorded for Reggie the Rocker but could only use like a quarter of them in the end. (and they still released him for $5)

The lore also says that Kevin used a Siren to kill her.

So it's either:
1. She didn't actually die
2. Kevin cloned her again in a less cannibal mutant way
3. Alternate universes
4. I've been misinformed as to the nature of the character.

I remember pre-ordering this game back in '09 and while I don't fully agree with the direction TW took it, it's still a very fun game.
After I get 100% achievement completion again and this event is over, it'll probably be the last time I play KF.
