O man I got my team all pre-picked in my head. It's going to be an awesome gen.

Since I'm in Australia but using a north american DS I'll have to wait till 2pm to start downloading the game but I'll be able to start right away then.

My friend linked me this. It's time to weed out the nerds from the poseurs.

Has the exact time of release been established yet? I know it's been midnight Eastern time on other games for US releases, but will it be different for X/Y since this one is a worldwide release?

Who's going to get X and who's going to get Y? I'm still undecided.

I know a lot of GameStops are having midnight releases, so I'd assume it's "supposed" to be released at midnight for each time zone.

I'm getting Y.

I'm getting X.

I've always grabbed the first game listed since the beginning.

I'm heavily leaning towards X because all of the games I have are the "secondary" versions out of each pairing, and I'd like to get the primary one for once. It will depend on what information I can find on version exclusives though - there are a few 'mons which might sway my decision if I can find out which game they're exclusive to. Is there any info on that available yet? I haven't been able to find anything so far.

Serebii has a list of the version exclusives up, I think.

I'd link it, but again I'm trying to avoid spoilers.

Super secret X and Y exclusives page that was mentioned earlier, not for mortal eyes: http://www.serebii.net/xy/exclusives.shtml

Also I'm getting Y personally.

None of my decision-makers appear to be on that list, so I guess it's X for me! The version mascot is another deciding factor to be honest - lots of big birds already, not a lot of giant neon rainbow deer.

Word on the street is that the games have gone live in Australia and Japan.

IT BEGINS.

Sadly since I have a North American DS, I can't get X and Y yet even though I'm in Australia :/
