Indeed, the computer does seem to take great pleasure in randomly sending you insults - I'm not sure why. Honestly, I wish I could simply set something to block all irrelevant communications. No random insults, no requests for open borders, no demands I give them things unrecompensed, just block the communication and stop wasting my time with it. Anybody stupid enough to be threatening me, wanting open borders with me, or demanding things from me, is just somebody I'm going to wipe out anyway.

I simply adore it when some smarmy ass like Alexander calls me his favorite city-state, while he's sitting with 4 cities guarded by pikemen, and I've got 30+ cities, full of mechanized infantry and howitzers. If it were a human player, it would be fun cause you could banter back, but with a computer that psychogical stuff is just annoying, because it's completely pointless.

yeah I totally agree. I wish you could turn off the random insults cause it really slows the game down for me. (not hardware wise, just gameplay wise) still I love nuking my enemies.
