My gf and I have started playing some again. I need to get geared now that I'm 80, but I feel that going into dungeons or fractals at my gear level would with randoms be frowned upon. lol

As a necro, I guess I'm not the best choice for dungeons, I rarely have trouble with gear and randoms. Half of mine is exotic, a little less then half rare, and a smattering of greens too. I guess I've been lucky with randoms though, I've heard some stories though.

low lvl fractals are quite easy, me and a friend did a few at lvl 1 duo not long after it was released, so you shouldnt have much to worry about gear wise. karma is pretty easy to come by now with the pots from doing daily, so if you dont have exotic gear, farm some karma and hit up the vendors at the temples in orr, they have added exotic trinkets along with the armor now.

cathedral of flames path 1 and honor of the waves path 1 are quite easy and fast dungeon runs, cof is farmed like crazy so it would be easy to find a group for it.

you can get some exotic weaps fairly cheap on the trade post. i have most crafting at 400, so if you can also pm me and ill help you out.

oh, also now the dragons and other major bosses that spawn in the world will give at least 1 guaranteed rare or better each day, there are a few sites that track spawn times, show up early though, the zones fill up very fast once the pre-events start

I'm currently leaning towards a condition build for my Elementalist, so we would conflict pretty badly in terms of dungeon runs if you are a Necro cause of the stupid bleed cap. My gear isn't there yet though, so I lack a lot of the condition duration so it might not be that bad. Who knows. Then again, I'm just making the assumption that you are playing a condition Necro, you could be playing a power Necro for all I know.

For those of us spread out on SBI, how are your guilds doing on research/influence?

Our small guild consisting of myself, my girlfriend, Bats, and Sheepah is about to unlock the low level guild bounties. I don't know how far people are along, but it might be better for us all if we consolidate into a single entity for the purpose of unlocking guild missions. Anyone further along?

been doing bounties since they were available. tier 1 bounty is 2 in 15 mins. which ones you get is random. they can be done with pretty easily with 8 or 10 people. what most do is try and track down as many bounty targets as possible before starting the bounty and hopefully you get ones that you already found to save time.

heres a tip, if you just want to get personal reward from guild missions, the commendations, queue some tier 3 bounty hunts. you wont be able to finish them, but you are more likely to get a bounty that is easy to find, and you only need to get 1 bounty to get the personal reward.

I know. I just was wondering if people wanted to lump our tiny guilds together so that we could gain enough influence to do more with the guild, that's all.
