Probably going to the midnight release of this. I accidentally preordered the 360 Collector's Edition though, so hopefully my local Gamestop can hook me up with a PC version (they're awesome about hooking me up with stuff).
For those that don't know, NV is being made by a lot of the same people who made the original Fallout 1 and 2 but with the Fallout 3 engine. This means a lot more of the Fallout flavor should be in NV. This probably means more grittiness, more dark humor, more pop-culture references and more relationships/sex (there was 2 shotgun weddings, a brothel and numerous ways to barter with your body in Fallout 2). I was actually disappointed with the lack of romance in Fallout 3. The forced lone nature of the protagonist kind of went against what Fallout had turned into over the two games, and the followers just didn't do it for me; they felt like cardboard cutouts.
Anyway, looking forward to New Vegas!
