I know I am a little late to this Ark party...but I recently got Ark: Survival Evolved for free on Epic Games launcher and didn't know if it was possible to play on the Ville's server without a steam id? Are these two versions compatible or do I require purchasing a version on steam in order to use the Ville server? Not being tech saavy....thought I should ask those that are.

Verman, M and myself are having a blast on Ark. We think we have the server configured to allow Epic players, so if you try to connect and get an error please let us know. We'd love to see you and your clan on the server!

I cannot seem to find the server on the list for epic. I think the server has to be set up for coplay...according the what I am finding.

I sometimes don't see the server in the list on the Steam version either and have to connect using the Steam Favorites browser.

Stevo is checking on our settings for crossplay.

Crossplay should be enabled. I don't have the non-steam version so I can't test it, but the server should allow you to connect.
