Having had my Fortress of Solitude completely wrecked, and having died 4 times at the mouth of an Alpha Carnotaurus, Imagine my surprise when I spawn right into his clutches again. And after a full day of ARK time, he's still roaming the area.
Any idea of how long that SOB stays in the area until I can get back and rebuild my empire?

Is this the base just northwest across the river from the large Ville base? If so I’m happy to come down and wreck him for you.

A good strategy otherwise is to strip down and kite him away from your base. Just keep leading him further and further away, dying each time he catches you, rinse and repeat. Eventually you can get him a decent distance away. This is what I do with pesky brontos.

Brontos are are bad news for everything around.

Well Flash took care of him. And I provided my corpse as a distraction.

He was a Level 90!

I get regular visits from the higher levels of beasts, and can usually perforate them with arrows to do the deed.
Those Alphas really get the blood going.

Do those very tall walls deter them a little, like they're used on Casa Ville?
