I can't seem to join the server, clicking the link on the home page gives a rather longish error after a few minutes and can't find our server in the in-game browser. . . any suggestions/advice appreciated!

If you add tv1.theville.org:27074 to your favorite servers in Steam they will show up in your favorites in-game.

Been watching those videos with the kids and they like what they see. Hopefully I'll be able to pickup the game and join the server this week.
