New Management

[Stevo]

Since the dawn of time, TheVille has been the foundation of online gaming. That may be hyperbole, but the truth is that this place has been around for a long time, and over that time, TheVille.org has changed hands multiple times. Despite this, the community has kept the same core values and mission to provide a safe and friendly gaming environment.

Recently, stutter offered me the opportunity to take over management of the website and community. He no longer has the time necessary for running TheVille and wanted to make sure things could keep going by giving stewardship to someone else. I was honored to be his choice and I gladly accepted.

So what does this mean? The most obvious change is the new website. There has also been a few small changes to the administration structure. The Ville Council has been dissolved and its responsibilities transferred to the Site Admins. The remaining active Council members, Flash and John Doe were promoted to Site Admin. Other than that, nothing significant will be changing.

I want to thank sgt stutter, Dog, and all the others who have kept things running smoothly for almost 20 years. That is an incredible accomplishment for a gaming community. With any luck, this will continue for the foreseeable future!
