Re: Untitled

Potomac groan Fell patterns Resolute hammers Flight of charlatans Do not give up hope. Encouragement and teamwork Yield positive things. Nice one Alizée. Nostalgia tastes so good. Go team Hand Brake! For the great purple Rodina I like yours too, darklin0. But I'm not sure what it means. Make a crypt...

Re: Untitled

As for this thread, I really don't see the purpose at all because people know this already. Not to mention a lot of new people will stack on the winning team. In other words, it's pretty hard to stop new people from stacking but that's how I actually got good at tf2. Playing on the losing team and ...

Re: Untitled

Translated into english: I'm sick of the stacked teams ruining my Dustbowl experience. Too many n00bs aren't playing for the team; their renegade style is ruining my hopes for TV6. Domer has made a cohesive interpretation of my poem which apparently DID make sense to HIM. There are bits (but not al...

Re: Step Away From the Dispenser!

Ha ha ha… I read this and thought two things: 1. Good to think about when you have the luxury. 2. I hardly ever have the luxury. But good point, Snidely, about the dispensers and how it affects uber charging rates. And good points about the healing ramps. I never considered it before. Reality check....

Re: Scientific Question VIII

Well, the ULTIMATE goal of science is to find explanations for compelling mysteries. The poll is not seeking an explanation. Rather, it is asking for us to decide upon factual information. Although facts often are determined by scientific investigations in many forms, reciting a fact is not an expre...

Re: Scientific Question VIII

It's a stretch, but "Pacific Northwest" could refer to either the Northwest region of Queensland, Australia, or the Far North region. There is no academically accepted geographic region called the "Pacific Northwest" in Australia that I could find. If THIS is the region to which ...

False choice. There is a well established Albanian-owned company, "Humana Zoo Chow" that collects human remains from mortuaries and morgues in Washington State. Based in Kennewick. Animal lovers in Washington can check a box on their Drivers License applications and donate their unembalmed...

Re: Random Video Game Music

To answer the music posted by all you "ground pounders," here are a few from my joystick days: Descent 3 Level 3 Music... extended version. The full soundtrack of this game has many elements that presaged current electronic techno with some hints at dub step. And no, the little pyro craft ...

Re: What's your avatar mean?

Mine is a self portrait. Actually, I had the lab tech snap the shot of me because my claws were too short. But that's really me. We set up the cool lighting for the shoot. Everyone may as well know, I am an experimental robot based on the lovely and mysterious trilobites that patrolled near shore, s...

Re: Lag and latency variability on TV VI Dustbowl

FPS multiplayer networking code has not changed much since the early 90's. Valve would not change this. Every year this time, BEFORE january budgets for new equipment at datacenters are allocated and right AFTER christmas when loads of people get new online gadgets, computers, and toys, THE INTERNE...
