Re: Taking down FTB server at end of cycle
A bit of a shame, but it does mean that I don't have to worry about an upcoming FTB reset taking any focus I might have away from MooVille. One thing I would like to note is that, if we are not doing a reset for FTB around the beginning of July, the next likely opportunity to bring back the FTB serv...

Unfortunately I probably won't be able to attend the dragon memorial. Have fun with it.

Please let's not plan for a reset on April Fools day. March 31st would be much better.John Doe wrote:I'd agree with flash. Let's plan for a reset for April 1st

Just don't let that offline play interfere with your presence on the new server. We'll miss you if you're not around after the reset.Elanor The Fair wrote:we can just download the world after the reset to finish it.

Re: Introducing the server browser
Certainly worth checking out.
I'll be surprised, though, if they allow us to keep any kind of persistent presence there. I'm betting that "servers" will disappear as soon as they are empty.

Re: FTB incompatible with NVIDIA driver 2017-01-20
To confirm, I was able to launch Vanilla even with the problematic driver. The problem appears to affect only FTB.

FTB incompatible with NVIDIA driver 2017-01-20
Just to let people know, I updated my NVIDIA driver yesterday and was unable to launch Minecraft today. Did some digging and found this post on the FTB forums: http://support.feed-the-beast.com/t/cant-launch-any-pack/29747 The post suggests that rolling back to the previous version of the NVIDIA dri...

FTB: How to allow others to use stuff in your claimed chunks
So, C4ridw3n and I tested this today, and it looks like the latest update on FTB: Infinity Lite fixed this, so now it's possible to claim chunks without blocking others from using your stuff even if you've claimed the chunks! To do this: 1. Type "/ftb team config" into the console. 2. In t...

Re: FTB: Anyone have a machine using 100 ExtraUtil2 Grid Pow
OK, found my problem, and it has nothing to do with anything anyone else is doing.
Apparently if you use 20 ExtraUtils2 Speed Upgrades, it gives you a penalty of 100GP. I temporarily removed the speed upgrades and my usage went back down.

New version of FTB Infinity Lite
I remember last time an update came out, we were actually able to update the server in-place. Are we intending/able to do that again?

FTB: Anyone have a machine using 100 ExtraUtil2 Grid Power?
In the current version of FTB, ExtraUtil2 has two different power systems: RF (Redstone Flux), and GP (Grid Power). Some machines require RF, and others require GP. They are completely incompatible with each other. GP, unlike other power systems, does not need to be connected to the receiving machin...

Re: FTB Reset end of December?
Hmm, looks like there is not Ender Quarry here either - it's not in Extra Utilities 2.
That said, it looks like the RFTools Builder can be used as a quarry, and has the same features as an Ender Quarry, but a different UI.

Re: FTB Reset end of December?
Yes, I took a fairly lengthy look at the Mekansim Wiki and it does look that it's going to be my main early to mid game mod, filling most of the role that TE used to fill, plus a bit more. There might be a bit of stuff that I get from EnderIO where Mekanism doesn't provide a clear alternative. For e...
