Re: Sons computer will not post
HSFs with back plates are tricky! The plate is needed, obviously, to support the HSF, but the installation process is risky for the mobo. I'd suggest pulling the rear panel off the case and ensuring the plate is attached completely level to the back of the mobo, and making sure it does not come in ...

Re: Sons computer will not post
And yes I know it's going to be the PSU but I buy decent ones so this doesn't happen and it's just going to piss me off.
So tell me what else it could be so I don't have to be angry.

Re: Sons computer will not post
The CPU fan not starting immediately is normal on newer systems. Did you try resetting the BIOS? There should be a clear CMOS jumper somewhere on the board. (EDIT You did that I can't read) Anyway barring that you may have blown dust/crap behind the motherboard and it's shorting pins. The power sup...

Sons computer will not post
Was going to change out the dvd drive in my sons computer, saw it was dusty and decided to take it outside and go at it with compressed air. When I brought it back in it now won't even post. Have cleared CMOS a couple of times, changed the battery on the MB, pulled all components and hit with compre...

Re: MvM worth it?
Not even close to worth it in my opinion. It can be fun, for sure, if you have a good group of friends to play with, but so are plenty of other games that don't charge additional fees for every round you play. In my opinion, it's nothing but a cynical way for Valve to milk additional mass quantitie...

Re: MvM worth it?
You have to play with groups of people who know what they are doing. When I have that it's fun as hell. When I don't it's just masses of frustration as people quit and you've wasted an hour + of time for nothing. Pubbing it is a total crapshoot and generally not worth it. Don't do it hoping for loot...

Holy crap. I can use all those skill points to.......UPGRADE SKILLS!
I have 30 skill points sitting there. I always thought my healing sucked and now I know why. Good lord, I need to RTFM.

Re: Guild Wars 2
Some piece of advice bluntspoon, while your leveling you might want to go out of your way to ensure unlock traits if you see an event going on in the leveling area your in at the time. Here's a guide that actually details where every unlock event for each of them is: http://dulfy.net/2014/04/19/gw2...

Re: Guild Wars 2
Well, up to Level 10 as a Mezmer and so far everything Guardian says is true. Very friendly for people like me who don't have a lot of time and like to wander around a bit and explore, rather than power through the levels.

Guild Wars 2
I stopped playing Everquest 9 years ago after the birth of my second child. I find myself looking to get back into an MMO type game again but am still a bit leery of the time sink. Was wondering if Guild Wars 2 might be a way to test the waters. Right now it's $20. Interested in opinions on the game...
