Re: Players and their play styles

Spot on description of 6 I'd say. You forgot the "I teamstacked all previous rounds, but now that it's stage 3 I'll switch to RED and act like I care" players. I enjoyed the part about the players who are frightened to leave the safety of the gated tunnel, you noticed that too? Some players are medi...

Re: Post your picture 2013

That beard is hella old-growth, ADP. I must be in the beardless minority, as many Villuns are embeardened.

Which begs the question, who here has the most rad beard?

Re: Post your picture 2013

No, we're using an ultrasonic leak detector there. Transmitter goes inside the cabinet, and sensor wand is run around outside near gaps and edges to ensure no change in decible level. It's to ensure the gasket it sealing properly, and that there are no micro-breaks in the weld that can result in ex...

Re: MAY: Replace a map on the TV7 rotation

I'll never understand you upward sympathizers, that map makes me break out into hives. I like it. It's a Valve map, so it has that cool TF2 art style. It looks quite Norman Rockwelly. Plus it's pretty balanced I think. No ridiculous chokepoints like Frontier and lots of paths to last so you don't g...

Re: Looking for IPSec Endpoint Router

This is an interesting video detailing the workings of IPSec routers. It also sheds some light on advanced tunneling, if anyone's unclear as to what Flash and frostdillicus are talking about.

I have no idea what Flash and frostdillicus are talking about.

Re: The blue smoke

Blue smoke in your exhaust indicates a problem with your valve tappets. You'll see this in commonly in old OHV Fords and other cars with pushrod engines.

Also when Chaka fries his ancient X1900.

Re: 69 hours of kickball! Wat???

More talk about kickball! I used to love playing kickball at youth group. I would always want to play first base, and try to catch comebackers. Wasn't too sure on the rules at the time, me being 9 and all. But I knew if you caught it they were out! And I wasn't afraid of the ball, so all those line...

Ah darn, I didn't use the appropriate smilie signifying I was being cheerful and not sarcastic.

I'm sorry, I'm bad at this sort of thing.

The best part is that you're tweeting about it. I smiled when I read that.

Re: Post your picture 2013

Crusty, which of the 17-years-deceased singers is you in those pictures? I can't guess! Ha, I was originally going to post photos of Kid n' Play. Went with London Boys instead. I'll upload a picture as soon as I have a Honda Civic with ground effects to pose next to, and a beer to brandish at the c...

Guess which one is me! http://i.imgur.com/j9GA5tC.jpg so handsome. my hero. Thank you. Here's another picture of me and my buddy. This one from our earl...

Re: Feedback DBLWP

I have never seen stage 1 Dustbowl defended so well- by all teams. Except that time we got rolled by SOBAD. Trying to uber through the tunnel with HWs, Demos, kkpyros or whatever on Warpath is ridiculous. Given all the players that dropped or no-showed, I think we did a great job of subbing people i...

Re: GG SOBAD (April 7th)

Great games! nothing like CJ ... encouraging ... us to retake the center point with 2 minutes to go to get the blood pumping :P That is without a doubt, my favorite memory of this event. For those who didn't hear, I thought whoever controlled mid would be declared winner. So I thought we were in da...

Re: Feedback DBLWP

Length of matches: Good. There were some crazy last minute pushes that made every match interesting. Plus, it's a Dustbowl and Warpath event, those are maps that take a while. I enjoyed the ABABABA whatever format. Length of event: 3 days was fine. Not too long. Forums: Steam groups worked well. The...
