Re: Ville-ain No. 2
JCOM was really a great guy. One of the people that made this place so great when I first was here. So many fond memories of Meleemania with him!
Thoughts and prayers are with his close friends and family right now.

Re: titanfall beta signup link
Sorry, I'm setting my limit on services to ones that offer at least Steam's level of service. None of them deserve any mention as services, they're all just control management for their games that have 0 to offer other than acting as gatekeeper for an extremely limited game store. I have more games...

Nice prejudice there.Alizée Fan wrote:I hate EA itself, and will have nothing to do with them.
I could understand more for games *developed* in-house by EA, but this is just published. Honestly, if this game is any good and uses DS, might be worthwhile looking at it for a new Ville game.

Re: titanfall beta signup link
I love how people criticize Origin, and yet if you look at how awful Steam really has been lately in terms of storefront and early accessing everything, I'm kind of waiting for a reason for Origin to have something that makes Valve smarten up.

Re: Pokémon X and Y
You got there with a team in the mid 50s? I got to the Pokemon League with a team in the early 80s (and one in the early 70s) I turned off the Exp. Share after a while. It didn't feel right for some reason. But yeah, my hall of fame entry is a team of 58-60, and the 60 didn't even do anything excep...

Microsoft hired the replacement to Steve Ballmer today, which means no more Steve Ballmer.

Re: Moving on with or without tf2
Anyway, the important thing I will say once more since I say it whenever the subject comes up - video games are pretty crappy at telling stories, so consuming them for that has little interest for me. Very few games have interesting mechanisms that hold any lasting interest for me at all to keep pl...

Re: Moving on with or without tf2
lol come on Masa, you say his comparison is apples to oranges and then provide an even worst example. I could maybe see where that worked with a single player game where the experience is pretty much always the same. But even that could depend on which genre of game you were playing. When you watch...

Re: Moving on with or without tf2
I dunno, you rarely see people exhorting basketball players to give it up and try out other sports just because it's boring to focus mainly on one sport. That is the analogy Riot Games was doing for blocking league players from streaming other games, and it's a garbage answer (No offense) because i...

Re: Moving on with or without tf2
I've been out of TF2 for about a year or so now. Super MNC was the first game to hold my attention to such an extent that it broke my infatuation with TF2. SMNC has since come and gone and other games have filled it's void (such as Awesomenauts and DayZ), and I cannot seem to draw the same enjoymen...
