Re: TV7 Rotation Map Cycle
An issue appears to have come to light concerning Payload maps and the cap limit. The way the game handle's scoring, the map tends to switch partway through if a team gets to attack more than once. This happened on Hoodoo, which is a six-cap map. The score limit is set to six, but the first time ar...

Re: TV7 Rotation Map Cycle
It's a nice concept but the map is badly designed, there are too many chokepoints and not enough flanking routes, the map almost always ends through sudden death, and when it doesn't it's because one team was badly rolling the other.

Re: TV6 Respawn times
Do it for the balance more than the quickplay, balanced games will tend to keep the server full, quickplay or not, IMO.

Re: Fano's General Guide to Improving at TF2
For anyone interested, this is my new favorite HUD: http://www.rdyup.org/knhud/ It has a much easier to manage crosshair system as well as many more features than my previous favorite Garm3nHUD, it also looks a lot better, in my opinion, give it a shot! I kinda want to update the guide a bit more b...

Re: TV7 Rotation Map Cycle
Some input: 5CP maps work great with default spawns, having fast spawns messes too much with balance. I understand why most people who are used to playing here don't like CP maps, since almost everyone is used to the fast spawns which can completely break the flow of the maps, playing with coordinat...

Re: Free copies of DOTA2
I know invites are plentiful and everyone who wants the game probably has it by now, but here's a cool thing one guy made, consider giving it your extra invites if you like, or feel free to snatch one as it has already collected several thousand of them, I believe: http://steamcommunity.com/id/dota2...

Re: General Musings ~ A TF2 Guide
Best Loadout : Scattergun, Pistol, Basher/Fish/Atomizer While I agree with you on the Scattergun, I have to ask why the Sandman and Guillotine combo hadn't been mentioned. The amount of damage you can lay out with it is absolutely absurd. You can literally bonk a Heavy, hit him with the Guillotine ...

I ran Ninjask for a while as a lead to baton pass off swords dance and a speed boost to a subpunch breloom/other physical attacker, worked for a while but this was back in Gen 4, Ninjask is a really cool pokemon but is really really squishy, the whole baton pass thing basically depends on the oppon...

Re: Fano's General Guide to Improving at TF2
anytime it turns yellow = bad, flashing or not, try a higher value like 0.033, also make sure to test the value on several different servers as that might also be the culprit.

Re: Fano's General Guide to Improving at TF2
Any thoughts on how to fix my lerps value in game? It used to be fine and then a couple updates ago it dropped to 15.something and flashes yellow. Yellow lerp values indicate that you are experiencing packet loss, the usual way to fix this is to increase the cl_interp value up from 0.0152 to someth...

Re: Fano's General Guide to Improving at TF2
A quick heads up for anyone who may be using the fps configs in this guide, I initially recommended capping your fps at double your refresh rate in order to maintain some sort of consistency, however I recently discovered that this can also cause some stuttering, much of which I was actually experie...

Re: TF2 vs Other Games
I've been playing a lot of Dota 2 and CS:GO lately, those games have a lot of the polish that TF2 seems to have lost over the years of constant content updates. The game feels too bloated now and I find it hard to enjoy these days, though I do sometimes hop on to play with friends, but not nearly as...
