Hey Guys, Look I'm on a DialUp myself and believe me the CL_Flush entity Error is a real pain in the arse. Like everyone has already mentioned this happens due to your connection being what it is. I did not know at the time that the TFC Default FPS_Modem setting in your TFC Config.cfg file is set at 70 Frames Per Second? Way to high for a Dialup and really contributes to your Packet loss and the game locking up. Set this to fps_modem "33" in your Autoexec, cfg if you pick not to use any of this below. *Note* This setting only should be used if you are a 14.4 Thru 56k Modem user. There is a URL below just for the lucky people who have the High Speed stuff Here is what I've added to my Autoexec.cfg
Win 98,Win SE,Win Me

-Video-
(Voodoo 2 to 3500)

-Other Brands follow links below-

My Autoexec.cfg Tweaks-

r_mmx "1"
cl_himodels "1"
s_a3d "0"
joystick "0"
s_eax "0"
_snd_mixahead "0.200"
m_filter "1"
cl_allowdownload "1"
cl_allowupload "0"
s_reverb "0"
r_decals "200"
fps_modem "33"
fps_lan "45"
rate "3000"
pushlatency "-225"
scr_conspeed "3000"
gamma "4.0"
cl_nopred 0
cl_pred_maxtime 255
cl_pred_fraction 0.5
cl_predict_players 1
cl_timeout 305
graphheight 8

(First Step!!!) Very Important,

**Before you start Backup your original Half Life Autoexec.cfg and Config.cfg**

(1)
I highly recommend going here first if you have never did this before! If you have? Skip
this and move on to Step 2.

http://www.tweak3d.net/autoexec/halflife/

This site offers an Automatic CFG Creation section that gives you different settings with Detailed Info on what each Setting does and then Adds it to a CFG that it puts together from your answers. Then all you do is just Cut and Paste it to your Autoexec.cfg in your TFC Dir... <BACKUP YOUR ORIGINALS>
---------------------------------------------
(2)
The Full Guide is Here and covers allot of the stuff that you have to do yourself that the Auto Creator does for you and then some. It's worth checking out ....

---------------------------------------------

*For those that have either VOODOO 4 or Better*

Here are the links for the other Videocards
that are out,

(Voodoo 5)http://www.tweak3d.net/tweak/voodoo5/

(Geforce) Note - Most of these tweaks work with TNT/TNT2 cards as well!

(G400)

---------------------------------------------

-Connection and Modem Tweaks-

(3)
After ALL Above is done it is time to move on to the Second most important thing........

It has not been updated in awhile so the latest OS "XP" ARE SOL But It does cover everything up to Win 95 to Win 2000.. I have personally used these settings on Win98,Win98SE,WinME without any bad effects. This sites improvements affect the over all performance of your PC's *Entire* Network Connection and Gaming.

(Covers EVERYTHING that has to do with your Connection & System)-Very Detailed)

Those who are using Microsofts Latest OS XP go here,
http://www.tweak3d.net/tweak/winxp/

-----------------------------------------------

For those of you who just want the Basics and just want to improve your Gaming Connection go
here,

http://www.tweak3d.net/tweak/hl/

---------------------------------------------

Last Step-

(4) ++Attention++ Please follow this last step!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**After everything is done and you have the Autoexec.cfg tweaked. Run a Lan
game so these setting will kick over and be written to your Config.cfg both located
in your Halflife/tfc Dir...

Then exit your Lan game "Only if you are happy with your settings and optimizations"
Go to the TFC Config.cfg file and Right Click it and Pick Propertys. Check Read Only
and then Apply. This way nothing is changed or added after you start a New game or joining
a Multi-Player game. Remember to change the "Propertys" back to just Archive if you either
need to Tweak these settings or add other setting to your Autoexec.cfg so it will carry over to the Config.cfg. Just redo these steps and you shall be on your way to a better TFC Game
----------------------------------------------

Other Efficient Tweaks

After you Tweaked your Video and Net Settings don't forget about the other IMPORTANT issues that effect your game,

A) Stop the Hard Drive Thrashing and Improve the way your system handles its Ram.

(For those using Win 2000)
http://www.tweak3d.net/tweak/win2kmem/
----------------------------------------------
B)Tweak your Sound and Multimedia Settings. Higher isn't always better!
http://www.tweak3d.net/tweak/sound/

C)Tweak your Optical (CD-ROM, DVD, CD-R, CDRW) Tweak Guide
http://www.tweak3d.net/tweak/optical/

That is it!!! I just threw this together as an easy index. The real work and effort is
by these two great sites who really improved my Game
