I've been playing the closed beta and it's not anything special, at least starting out, at least in the closed beta. They say for you to play a game, you have to be hooked in the first 45 minutes, and I wasn't.

I have it reserved and will be playing the open beta on the 8th. Im pretty pumped for it and it looks phenomenal. From what i can understand it takes the good things from WoW and refines them and kicks all the lame crap out.

I've been in beta for about a year now. Early beta the game wasn't fun at alll but it's changed a lot and it's so much better now. I'll be playing it. Will be going order and probably playing an arch mage. All through beta destruction has outnumbered Order. I really don't want to be on the high pop realm side. But, if that changes on release then i'll reroll to destruction and play a shaman.

it seems like itd be better than wow, i only played it for about 2 months and got bored of it.. this looks great tho, never played any warhammers tho

i preordered this as well. it looks like a good game, but i kind of regret ordering it because i know i won't have a lot of time to play it.

I am sad, I would love to get into this when it comes out but marriage + workaholism = no time for MMOs. . . I love the Warhammer universe and I enjoyed WoW for a long time, I'm sure this would be a ton of fun.

Looks good, kinda strange that the eldar, dark eldar, sisters of battle, necron and empire of tau dont make appearances perhaps they are waiting for expansions.

I dunno I like the game just off of what i've played from the RTS games but I'm never going to truely base wether or not im going to buy something off a video like that, it has no gameplay footage! Not to mention I am still trying to do the whole getting WoW thing but im not a big fan of P2P

You've got chocolate in your peanut butter.

Those are races associated with Warhammer 40K.

Warhammer is more medieval, and 40K is the futuristic tanks and plasma guns miniature game.

They are both excellent, and I had a few years of great fun playing them. Your basic Warhammer, though, has dwarves, elves, humans and chaos as well as the rat-men Skaven.

Not sure what has come out expansion wise but that's it as far as I know.

I think there are dark elves, now? 40K introduced fun stuff like the Tyranids (think Alien... on steroids and whatever else you can throw in)...
